Commencement Weekend

Akshata Murty and Rishi Sunak, both MBA ’06, addressed the Class of 2025 at this year’s commencement ceremony.

The Graduate School of Education conferred degrees across a spectrum of education programs, including policy, technology, and research, as well as undergraduate honors.

Families, friends, and faculty gathered to celebrate the achievements of Stanford Medicine’s Class of 2025.

“When a university is at its best – when Stanford is at its best – the campus is an unparalleled place for freedom, truth, and enlightenment,” Levin told graduating students.

In an address that inspired cheers, tears, and laughter, the nine-time Olympic gold medalist and former Stanford student-athlete urged graduates to listen to themselves as well as to their mentors.

More than 21,000 attendees filled Stanford Stadium for a celebration featuring Wacky Walk, student performances, academic and service awards, and an address by Olympic champion Katie Ledecky.

Speakers Alexander Nemerov and Noah Hao-Lin Tan reflected on finding wisdom and purpose in the world around them during Stanford’s 2025 Baccalaureate celebration.
